Investing is a very important part of building wealth. Wealth or wealthiness is defined as the state of being rich and affluent; having a plentiful supply of material goods and money. However, some people confuse wealth with being rich. They are not the same as you can see in the following definition. Rich is defined as possessing material wealth. There is a very important word in that definition, material. So the guy with the Rolex and the Porsche may be rich to afford those material posessions, but he is really poor because he has no real assets or savings.

There are many types of investments; equities or stocks ( this includes mutual funds, spiders, index funds, ETFs, and DIPs.), Real Estate ( commercial and residential ), resources ( gold, oil and silver ), cash equivalents ( money market, CDs, savings, interest checking, etc. ) and real property ( paintings, antiques, cars, etc). As you can see there are many places for your money to go.

You may be thinking , I do not have enough to pay the bills how can I begin building wealth. Its easy, a little will power, achievable goals, and the knowledge and tools you will gain from this site are all you need. The focus of this section is for people to share investments and techniques that have worked for them. Also, to post facts about different investment vehicles that are available.
